Steve Schrader - President
Steve Schrader has held leadership roles in locally owned and operated customer-service oriented businesses for over 40 years. In 1985, he started a small restaurant- The Cork Street Tavern - in Winchester, Virginia with partner Steve Sabanosh. The restaurant became very well known for their award winning BBQ baby back ribs and excellent customer service. In 1987, he assisted his brother David in starting Bio Green Outdoor Services. The combination of David's education and expertise in agronomy and turf science, sales and lawn care applications with Steve’s experience in developing, marketing and operating a successful business and his years of customer service experience, has resulted in a solid, profitable business that has grown consistently over the past decades.

Dave Schrader - Executive Vice President & Staff Agronomist
Dave Schrader graduated from the University of Maryland in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy, with a concentration in Soil Conservation. Dave knew that he wanted to work out of doors and had a passion for the environment. He began his career at a local company, Lawn Pro, as the DC area troubleshooter for problem lawns. After one year, Dave was promoted to manager of the company’s new Chantilly, VA office. Dave was inspired to create his own company by his experiences while at Lawn Pro, wanting to do better by his customers and the environment. He left in late 1986 to develop the business plan for Bio Green.

Steve Sabanosh - Vice President of Sales
Stephen Sabanosh was born and raised in Northern Virginia and grew up in Vienna. Stephen started his work career in the restaurant business, learning all facets of the industry. In 1984 Stephen met his future business partner, Steve Schrader and together they opened The Cork Street Tavern in Winchester, Virginia. They ran this business successfully until its sale in 1993.

Scott Schrader - Vice President
Scott Schrader began work as a diesel engine mechanic in Maryland after graduating from the Diesel Institute technical school and receiving his certification as a heavy equipment and truck mechanic. In 1984, Scott moved to San Diego, California, working at a heavy construction equipment and truck center where his duties expanded to include fleet maintenance.
