Scott Schrader - Vice President
Scott Schrader began work as a diesel engine mechanic in Maryland after graduating from the Diesel Institute technical school and receiving his certification as a heavy equipment and truck mechanic. In 1984, Scott moved to San Diego, California, working at a heavy construction equipment and truck center where his duties expanded to include fleet maintenance.
Scott returned to Maryland in 1989, accepting a management position at a charter bus company running the dispatch and service department. His duties included managing 130 employees, overseeing service and fleet maintenance and operations, the buying and selling of equipment and the implementation of specific contracts both public and private.
In 1991, Scott was put in charge of a contract carrying out the privatization of the San Juan, Puerto Rico city transit system. This involved a complete company start up including government and union negotiations and adherence to regulatory considerations. In 1993, Scott joined BioGreen using his experience to manage and expand the sprinkler division. He has since become a Certified Irrigation Contractor and named a Vice President of BioGreen.
