Steve Sabanosh - Vice President of Sales
Stephen Sabanosh was born and raised in Northern Virginia and grew up in Vienna. Stephen started his work career in the restaurant business, learning all facets of the industry. In 1984 Stephen met his future business partner, Steve Schrader and together they opened The Cork Street Tavern in Winchester, Virginia. They ran this business successfully until its sale in 1993.
In 1987 they helped Steve’s brother, Dave, start Bio Green, Inc. Both businesses did remarkably well and Bio Green grew exponentially each year. After the sale of the restaurant, Stephen worked closely with Dave learning everything about turf, irrigation, sales, production, lighting, mosquito control and drainage solutions. In 1996 Stephen took over management of the Loudoun branch and, along with Scott Schrader, built a formidable one-two punch lawn care and sprinkler business covering Loudoun, Fairfax, & Frederick counties.
In 2007, Steve took over the Manassas branch and worked his magic there. Additionally, Stephen also assumed all responsibility for sales for the entire company. Within a few years the Manassas branch produced all-time highs in new sales, client count, and revenues and maintains that benchmark today. Although Stephen prefers the understated title “Managing Partner” he is in fact the Vice President of Sales for the corporation and its Secretary along with his duties running the Manassas branch.
Stephen enjoys pleasure boating, fishing, fine cigars, and excellent bourbon. He is married, lives in Stephens City and has three lovely daughters.
